I opted for Freshlook Colour Blends in Green and Amethyst.
The latter was kinda scary when I first was introduced by the sales person. The last thing I wanted to look like was a cast member from the Adams Family, or worst, Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam.

This was taken on a high flash, therefore you can see it more clearly, but in real life, the colours were very natural, almost like my own eye colour (keep in mind that I have very light brown eyes, so different effects may be achieved if you have darker eyes). So natural in fact no one has asked me if I have coloured contacts on, even my mom!
But after trying it on, it was very subtle, a selling point of Freshlook. I've tried Freshkon Coloured contacts before the colour was way more vivid, but more OTT especially if you're Asian and trying to pull off green, blue or turquoise. The amethyst is supposedly a best selling colour. I wanted to get the grey ones, but she reassured me that this was almost similar if not more vivid than grey.
I think coloured contacts are much better (with a good choice of complimentary colours for your skin tone and hair) in enhancing one's eyes, especially Asian who are born with smaller ones. I definitely will choose these over the scary looking black contacts that are making waves in Japan and Korea which supposedly make your iris bigger, hence, the bigger eyes.
But really, steer clear of the bleached blonde hair and blue eyes (contacts) if you're Asian. There is nothing worse than a Barbie wannabe from Jinjang.
